Niagara Falls souvenir dustpan, also known as the silent butler. It measures 11 cm long and 13.5 cm wide. Made out of light metal, possibly tin with copper tone, and highlighted vignettes.
This cooper dustpan is a mini-travelogue brochure with five must see scenes of Niagara, including the Great Gorge Bridge, Maid of the Mist Boat Ride, Aero Car at the Whirlpool Rapids, and American and Horseshoe Falls. Such dustpans were sold with a cooper hand “broom” It also included a cliché image of the Legend of the White Canoe in which a naked female stands as her canoe glides over the crest of Niagara Falls.
